Input Director is designed for those folks that have two (or more) Windows systems set up at home. Using Input Director, you can position the monitors of your systems side-by-side and then control all of them via one keyboard/mouse. To transition which system you're controlling is as simple as moving the cursor off the screen on one system and it'll pop up on the next screen (similar to a multi-monitor setup) or via a hotkey combo. Input Director also lets you share clipboard contents, so you can copy from one machine, switch over to another and then paste. This also works for files that are in network shared directories. New features include: * A new 'background slave mode' can control a slave prior prior to login * Windows Fast User Switching Supported * Better support for multiple masters controlling the same slave * Use the master mouse preferences when controlling a slave * Keyboard LEDs reflect the status of the system being controlled * Fixed bugs that incorrectly rejected authorised slaves * Can control the UAC dialog box on a Vista slave * Slaves and the master can display a semi-transparent informational window that indicates which system currently has the cursor * Numerous minor bug fixes and enhancements * Can simulate Ctrl-Alt-Delete on a slave system * Can synchronise locking some or all slaves with the Master * Can synchronise a slave's screensaver with the Master's * Can shutdown all (or a subset of) slaves from the Master * Can control a locked slave |
